Mykhaylo Oleksiyenko
Mykhaylo Oleksiyenko

Oleksiyenko Mykhaylo was born on the 30th of September 1986.

In 2008 he graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv National University (faculty of mechanics and mathematics).

In May of 2012 became a PhD in mathematics

In 2002 he received the title of international master and in 2005 became a grandmaster.

Achievements:

2004:

  • 3rd place in Ukrainian championship under 20
  • 2nd place (11.5 of 15) in Vasylyshyn Memorial (first GM norm) - 
  • Quarterfinalist of Ukrainian Cup among men beating P. Eljanov and S. Fedorchuk

2005:

  • 5th place (7 of 9) in international tournament Cappelle la Grande, France (second GM norm)
  • 1st place (7.5 of 9) in international tournament Summer Open Olomouc (Czech Republic)
  • 4-15th place (6.5 of 9) in international tournament InAUTOmarket Open, Minsk, Belarus (the last Gm norm)

2006

  • 1st place (7.5 of 9) in international tournament Breizh Masters (France)
  • 2nd place (7 of 9) in international tournament Pardubice Open, Czech Republic (406 players, 58 GMs, 120 IMs)
  • 1st place (8 of 9) in international tournament Instalplast (Ukraine)

2007

  • 1st place (7 of 9) in international tournament Breizh Masters (France)
  • 6th place (7 of 9) in international tournament Pardubice Open (Czech Republic)
  • 1-2nd place (11 of 15) in international tournament Vasylyshyn Memorial (Ukraine)
