Blitz tournament in Paris

When I and my father came on the eve of the tournament to observe playing hall we got really surprised. There were no tables and chess sets, although the round starts tomorrow morning! We got doubts, whether we'll play tomorrow. How could we know that Frenchmen are so well organized.With Woman World Champion Aleksandra Kosteniuk we were not only near by rating, but also in result I took 6th place and Aleksandra - 7th.Before the start of French Championship in blitz. I am serious as usually :)Awarding ceremony. Later followed nice French tradition at the end of each tournament - banquet with sweets.The winner and champion on France became Feller, Sebastien FRА 2576, second came - Meier, Georg GER 2663, the third was - Shchekachev, Andrei FRА 2557. Having won against 3rd prize winner, unfortunately I lost to the champion and silver - prize holder.I have been to Paris already in June of 2009 for 2 weeks, but this time we stayed there only 1 day. It seems that last time we discovered almost all sightseeings of Paris, walking 4-5 hours a day. The most memorable and fun impression - was ship excursion along Seine river. Highly recommended!
